Mirus, Coleridge Road, Cambridge

Development of 2 new, architect-designed, contemporary houses

Completed Autumn 2016
Project value £0.5 million

This was the fourth project with developer, Blues Property – a company with numerous years experience of land and development in the Cambridge property market.

Mirus was a small development of just two 3-bedroom homes on Coleridge Road in the city centre.

Our relationship with the client and architect allowed for on site collaboration which ensured Blues Property made the most of the site to achieve the homes it wanted and knew would sell quickly.

There was a mixed pallete of materials which gave the homes a distinctive external look.  The homes were partially timber framed and had glazed roof lines.  Glazing dominated, with bi-folding doors to the rear gardens.  The open plan living accommodation on the ground floor is a pre-requisite for most modern new-builds – whether on a development or on a private, one-off home.

The mix of residential property in our construction portfolio testifies to the fact that no two projects or sites are the same.  Although the developer of Mirus was a client with whom we work regularly, we are never complacent in our approach to any new development.  While we may bring established professional relationships in working for regular clients, we will always take a fresh approach to any development project.
