1 substantial, bespoke, new home with a swimming pool block & triple garage

We were invited to participate in the single source, open book procurement process to cover all aspects of the construction and delivery of this bespoke, high-end home.

The project, as a whole, amounted to 6,500 sq ft of accommodation and was built to the client’s plans and specification.

A ‘statement home’ always has a high specification when it comes to technical installations, building materials and internal features and fittings.  This South Cambridgeshire village home was no exception.

On a clay site, concrete piling supported its apexed steel frame.  Roofs were zinc clad and there was a ‘green’, sedum roof to the swimming pool complex.  The property included a ‘whole house’ mechnanical ventilation heat recovery system and was heated by dual air source units backed-up by a solar PV system.

Non-standard building materials included non-metric sized bricks which were imported from Germany.  Technical challenges and attention to detail extended to inside the home too.  There was a bespoke helical staircase and marble tiling on the first and second floors.  An intelligent home wiring system was installed to control lighting, audio visual settings and even to draw the curtains.

A suitably imposing and impressive residential property.  An ambitious build achieved and a worthy showcase for the extensive range of our skills and our methodical approach to projects.
