Our client was London-based development company, Elleric, who has a reputation for selling contemporary residences in Central London.  We had been personally recommended to Elleric and worked with them from planning to completion.

Milton Place is a prominent development on one of North Cambridge’s key road routes in to the city centre.

On quite a tight site for access and build, we constructed and delivered the development.  The nature of the site saw the challenges of mains and utilities services to overcome – among others – which we achieved.

With Elleric’s reputation for a particular style of city centre residence, the architectural specification was quite ‘funky’ so the homes at Milton Place were always going to stand out from the surrounding properties.  Elements used included zinc clad façades and there were some prominent sight line projections from the houses, behind which were balconies and roof terraces.

There was no compromising of the modern feel or high quality specification when it came to the internal layouts, fittings, fixtures and finishings.

To us, Milton Place reinforces the contemporary profile of our portfolio. The property agent was Carter Jonas – one of Cambridge’s leading firms which has a national profile. It was a real compliment from the developer to have Dean & Dean referenced in the sales brochure. It’s not often that builders get such a credit in marketing material.
